Wild mushrooms are particularly plentiful in autumn but easy to misidentify (some are poisonous), so take great care. Mushrooms with such glorious names as Giant Puffball, Penny Bun and Jelly Ear are perfectly safe to turn into a mushroom soup or broth to serve in this Foraging Soup Plate. If you’re lucky enough to find chanterelles and cep mushrooms, you’ve discovered culinary gold to make a delicious pasta dish or earthy risotto for your hand-crafted soup dish.
